The Shady Cove mayor and city council will hold an open house to meet the finalist applicants to fill Shady Cove’s City administrator position, on Thursday, Mar. 18 from 8-9 a.m.
The City has conducted an extensive search for applicants to fill this vacancy brought about by the recent resignation of the former city administrator to take a position in another city.
After reviewing 50 applications. the city council has narrowed the field to finalists who have been invited to interviews in Shady Cove on March 18.
The first hour, from 8am to 9am, will be open to the public to hear each of the finalists introduce themselves and present an opening statement. Refreshments will be served.
The rest of the day will be occupied with closed door interviews and assignments with the finalists. No decisions will be made in the closed door sessions. Any decision to hire the top candidate is expected to be placed on the regular city council agenda of April 1.
